How to log in?
The Value Management System (VMS) from Valuedesk is a web application and therefore does not need to be installed on the computer. To log in to the Value Management System, go to my.valuedesk.de. Here you enter your login data - consisting of e-mail and your password.
INFO: Since the VMS is a web application, you can access the platform at any time and from any device. To do so, simply go to my.valuedesk.com and enter your login data.
How to create an account?
Your account is generated during the onboarding process. It is not possible to create your own account as it is known from other applications you use for private use. If you do not have an account yet and need access to the VMS, we ask you to contact your internal contact person in the company. He will check the necessity and will create an account for you if necessary.
How to edit my account?
To customize your personal settings, click on your profile photo in the top right corner of the application. Initially, your icon will consist only of your initials. A drop-down menu will open, here you select "Settings".
A new page will open. On the left side you will find three categories "My Profile", "Update Password" and "Notifications". Choose a suitable category.
Make changes in your profile
For the first use we recommend to adjust the personal data in the account. Of course, if necessary, you have the option to adjust the data at any time later. You can find the setting under "My profile". Here you will find your personal information under "Change profile". Adjust the necessary information.
Change profile picture
To guarantee better recognizability in the system, you should upload a profile picture.
Our Value Management System supports all common image formats. We recommend the JPEG and PNG file formats. In any case, make sure that the photo is of good quality. When uploading, all photos are cropped to a 1:1 format, so square image formats are recommended.
To upload an image, proceed as follows:
- Click on "Select image"
- On your computer, select the file to upload
- Confirm the file with "Open"
- Click on the "UPLOAD" button
- Your profile picture will appear on the left side
Language setting / preferred currency / time zone
It is possible to switch between different languages. To do this, select the language you want to use in the system from the drop-down menu.
You can also set your default currency. When creating the system, the currencies used in your company were already stored. The exchange rate of your company is also taken into account.
Select the appropriate time zone.
Update password
If you wish, you can change your password in the system. Confirm your identity by entering your current password and then assign a new password. Remember to save your password using the "Change Password" button. If the assignment was successful, you will receive a positive feedback in the bottom left corner.
NOTE: The password must comply with Valuedesk's password guidelines. Make absolutely sure that your password is at least 12 characters long, consists of upper and lower case letters as well as numbers and special characters.
HINT: To display the password, click on the icon (eye).
Notifications
In the Notifications section you can manage your notifications. As you use it, you will learn which notifications are relevant and less relevant to you. According to your experience, you can configure and save the notifications here.
