The administration area

Learn how to access the administration area and what information you can edit here.

HINT: Only users with administration rights can edit companies. If you are not authorized for the administration area, please get in touch with your internal contact person.

Proceed as follows to access the administration area:

  1. Click on your profile icon (top right)
  2. Select Administration

You will now get to the administration area and see the general information about the company. Here you can…

  • Change the company name
  • Change the internal contact person
  • Set the default group for new users
  • Set the default user level/ license
  • Set the default group for contributors
  • Set the default user level/ license for contributors
  • Set the default group that can see measures that have completed the first level of level. (This group can only see measures for which the toggle has been clicked below the first level).

NOTE: In contrast to editing tasks, you must explicitly save changes. This is for security against unintentional changes.

  • Update the company logo: 
    You have the option of uploading the company logo or removing it with "Delete logo" and then uploading a new one. The logo is displayed on the news page that appears first when my.valuedesk.com is called up.

  • Customize the dashboard colors: 
    Up to twelve corporate identity colors can be defined here to be used in the dashboards. The colors are used from color #1 to color #12 depending on the needs of the dashboard.
