With the visibility you decide who is allowed to see the process. Learn how to switch the visibility and what you have to consider for the visibility settings.
What does the visibility of a process mean?
The visibility of a process specifies who can see and edit this process. There are two visibilities - private and visible.
Differences between visibility private and visible
When you create a process, it is by default set as "private" visible. This means that only you can see and edit this process.
Visible processes are seen by all users with a license ("full access"). Likewise, the processes can be edited by all users with a license.
Visibility “private”
When you create a process, the visibility is set to private by default. You can recognize private processes by the padlock. To do this, go to your process.
Visibility “visible”
You can change the visibility at any time. You can set private processes "visible" in this way in your process. You can recognize visible processes by the house icon.
Changing the visibility
- Go to the process
- Click on "Access" (at the top, next to the visibility status)
- In the upper area you will see the visibility and the people involved
- Set the visibility
- For private processes, you can add more people to edit the process in the lower area
ATTENTION: When the hardness level Potential Estimation is completed, the visibility of the measure is automatically set to "visible". You can choose to leave the visibility at "private" using the toggle switch.
